Christmas at the Trailer Park
I do love me a good fake white trash Christmas tune, yessir. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend, so far. Just remember to have one thought in your mind as you enter Wal-Mart: shields up!

Hifana – Fresh Push Breakin’
I think these dudes from Japan just became my favorite new listen! Samplicious synthetic breakbeat sonics for the win. Found via Ectomo, via Pink Tentacle.

Daft Hands: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Don’t be fooled by the first few seconds… it gets very cool after that! Thanks to Kevin for the find!

Styx – Come Sail Away
No song had a bigger impact on me as a child than this one.
That explains quite a lot, actually.
Sorry for the late post, but it’s been a hell of a day.

Sweet Dreams are Made of Seven Nation Army
My good friend Maurice sent me this link. It’s rare to find a mashup video that’s as good as (or in this case, a little better than) the audio portion of the mashup. This is a great combo. Thanks, Mo!

Soggy Bottom Boys vs. Gwen Stephani
As you know, I likes me some mashups, and this is one of the odder ones. It really doesn’t quite make it as a whole, but I gotta give the artist props for trying to take two crazy different songs like this and making a go of it. At the very least, if you like boys you get to see George and if you like girls, you get to see Gwen.

Marching Band does Thriller
This is my second in as many days (and–don’t worry–last) goofy Thriller version video. Described as the “2005 Halloween Corner Performance With The Penn State Drum Line” this is completely awesome! It’s not awesome because the performance is top-notch or flawless (far from it) but because the idea of a marching band putting on masks and reenacting Thriller is just… well, it’s just awesome. This put a big smile on my face!
